An auto floor scrubber is a great way to clean and maintain polished concrete floors, also providing the customer the ability to add a lithium silicate maintenance cleaner to their floor in one step. If an auto scrubber is not available a simple mop and bucket can be used with the same lithium silicate cleaner mixed into the water.

Considering that PCS polished concrete floors are extremely light reflective, the customer may realize a reduced need for artificial lighting and actually reduce their electricity cost.

PCS polished concrete floors meet the nation's highest indoor air quality standards, while maintaining low VOC's and eliminating concrete dusting. While most topical sealers or coatings contain higher VOC levels than those used in our polished floors, polished concrete is USDA approved.

Polished concrete can breathe, allowing hydrostatic or moisture vapor from below to pass through the surface. The main reason coatings fail is due to hydrostatic pressure. This pressure builds under a non-breathable surface coating, pushing upward, causing the material to delaminate. Polished concrete surfaces last like concrete because that is just what they are, concrete.
