About Us

There is no substitute for years of experience and continually investing in industry-leading technology, materials and equipment. Since 2012, our family-owned and operated company has specialized in concrete polishing, industrial coatings and terrazzo, marble and granite restoration. You won’t find a hard surface commercial flooring that we don’t offer solutions for.

Our owner is present at every job site and the only contact a client will work with throughout the job. He has hand-picked a crew of seasoned and highly trained veterans in the field of concrete.

The quality of our standards is what sets us apart from others. We go the extra mile to ensure every project is a successful one, both esthetically and functionally. It’s a point of pride that most of our work comes from word of mouth, built on the trust that comes from a job well done. Performance based on precision produces results that last.

Our Mission:

Our mission at Performance Concrete Solutions is to not only meet, but exceed our customers' expectations. We strive for perfection, using only the best materials and the most recent technology available to provide exemplary service to our customers.

Polished Concrete

An exacting mix of art and science, polishing concrete adds visual appeal, while ensuring longevity, durability and ease of maintenance. Over the years, our crew has followed our exclusive 9-step mechanical process to transform dull concrete into an impressive shine, designed to withstand heavy commercial use. Before the work is done, we assess the flooring level and fix any cracks or pits. Then we make multiple passes with a diamond grinder. After we apply a densifier agent to strengthen the concrete from within, we make several passes with a diamond polisher to develop the depth, shine and ease of maintenance.

Industrial Coatings

Every job is different, and we customize industrial coatings to suit the customer’s unique setting, in even the most demanding environments. These durable materials create floors that are easy to clean, resistant to abrasion from forklifts and heavy equipment, capable of withstanding chemical spills like oil, grease, and battery acid, and designed to eliminate dust while helping prevent slips and falls. The focus is on longevity, safety and performance. Looks matter too, so we work with the top manufacturers in the industry to offer a wide selection of finish options, colors and textures.

Terrazzo Restoration

Terrazzo flooring is expensive, great-looking and much more cost-effective to restore than replace. First we patch holes, cracks or imperfections. Then our state of the art diamond grinding equipment penetrates the surface and remove decades of dirt and grime. Lastly we polish the floor and take it back to its original color and luster, making it look better than the original.

Marble and Granite Restoration

Natural stone flooring adds dimension and durability to any setting. We can revive dull, scratched or uneven marble and granite flooring to bring it back to its glory. We take pride in our meticulous multi-step process of cleaning, repairing and polishing natural stone floors to improve stain resistance and performance, in the end extending their lifespan by decades.

Damaged Concrete Restoration

Unlike a lot of concrete finishing companies, we go out of our way to perform concrete repair and rejuvenation services, making floors like new both esthetically and functionally at a fraction of the cost of replacement. The sooner we can address damaged concrete, the smoother and longer lasting your floor will be. Spalls, cracks, lippage, busted out saw cuts can all be repaired as good as new.

Concrete Hardening (Densifying)

We apply a liquid silicate agent that reacts within the concrete. This chemical process fills microscopic pores in the concrete to harden the material, reduce porosity and prevent concrete dusting, which is the breakdown of the finished floor. It also makes it more resistant to wear and tear.

Joint Filling (Saw Cut Filling)

Especially in a manufacturing setting, we can fill saw cut and expansion joints with a material such as semi-rigid polyurea or epoxy slurry to ensure a smooth, durable transition. This strengthens the integrity of the surface against heavy loads or forces and makes a smooth transition across the joint.

Concrete Burnishing

Using a high-speed concrete burnisher, which is essentially a buffing tool with specialized diamond pads, we can create shine on hardened concrete in a cost-efficient way. We can add a penetrating sealer to resist salts and stains.

Concrete Pouring/Refinishing

We can handle your concrete project from beginning to end. Starting with the design of your concrete mix and finishing with the quality and performance of the flooring you desire.

Service Area

Though we’ve done work all over the country, we try to keep our scope within a two-hour radius of Canton, Ohio, often going into Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

What Our Satisfied Customers are Saying

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long does it take to polish concrete?

It depends on the project size. For example, a 5,000- to 7,000-square-foot project takes about one week, which includes nine steps in the concrete polishing process.

  • How long does it take new concrete to cure before you can get started?

    Approximately 30 days.

  • Is the concrete slippery?

The polished concrete surface is similar to a hardwood basketball floor. When dry, it is not slippery. If it is wet, it can be slippery.

  • How do I maintain the floor?

We recommend to use a walk-behind auto scrubber on commercial-sized projects. We can also give you a degreaser mixed with a hardener that goes into your auto scrubber to lengthen the high performance of your floor.

  • How long does the polished concrete flooring last?

It lasts for a lifetime and only needs periodic rebuffing several years down the road for rejuvenation.

  • Where are you headquartered?

Our family-owned and operated company is based in Canton, Ohio.

  • How far will you go for jobs?

Though we’ve done work all over the country, we try to keep within a two-hour radius of Canton, Ohio, often going into Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
